Here is a collection of sermon series key art graphics completed by my team over the years. Each one, from a major holiday like Christmas or Easter, to a one week series or event put on by a small ministry, is broken into dozens of assets for all platforms and campuses.

The design team pitches multiple concepts for the series before executives decide on a final look. Here are two similar concepts showing social and in-room ideas that eventually led to the final key art.

The key art is created and then showcased in the recording studio on an LED wall. Each week, a sermon is captured in the studio with a live audience, and artwork variations are created. The captured recordings are then polished by the production team and sent to 10+ campuses for play every weekend.

Print elements are created from the key art including tickets for the studio recordings.

Digital elements across many platforms are created, like the Instagram story graphics seen here. One of my favorite elements from this series art was combining my hand-lettering with the sans serif type to bring a personal touch to the graphics.

Other examples of digital assets include YouTube thumbnails, series backgrounds, and built in elements like lower third graphics to display content that get baked into the video in production. YouTube views reach the thousands every week.

This series expanded to include a 70-page printed workbook for church-wide use within community groups. Making print products like this can be fun to develop the look from digital weekend assets like slides and in-room graphics, to hand-held items.

Photos from the sermon recordings can be used on social media to show a behind-the-scenes look.
